NEYLAND and District Sea Angling Club met at Pendine for their latest match.

There was a pulling tide, not being able to hold down the bait, proved fishing extremely testing, and it rained at the end to spoil it.

However, John Hart doubled his wins for the year by taking the first two matches running; he had the heaviest bag and also took the pool for the heaviest fish.

President Bob South finished in second spot with his bag; the club would like to thank Bob for taking the bookings and recording the weights, also thanks to the adjudicators Bernie Davies, Alan James and John Hart.

The next match is scheduled for Sunday, November 9, at Saundersfoot. Fishing the harbour wall 5-9pm, book-in at 4.30pm.

Neyland and District Sea Angling Club are holding their annual general meeting at Neyland Yacht Club on Thursday, November 6.

Members are reminded to return all trophies as soon as possible.
