Saundersfoot Sports 5-2 West Dragons
SAUNDERSFOOT Sports marched to a crucial five-goal victory over fellow strugglers West Dragons.
Two weeks ago the Dragons beat the Sports 3-0 at home, but the Sports gained sweet revenge in fine fashion. Sam Coleman scored the opener in the first minute. Rhys Hewson’s edge of the area finish doubled the lead in the tenth minute. Just before the break, Danny Caine marked his return to the Sports line-up by adding the third goal.
Ashton Plunkett pulled a goal back for the visitors ten minutes after the interval, but the hosts were awarded a soft penalty that Coleman despatched. Richard Cope headed home the fifth and Luke Morrissey’s shot deflected off Plunkett and into the net to complete the scoring.
