JOHNSTON proved too hot for poor Monkton Swifts to handle.
The visitors led 2-0 at half-time, Liam James header opened their account in the 25th minute and Ryan Doyle struck five minutes before the interval.
The Tigers added five further goals in the second period, Doyle adding his second of the match on the hour mark. Steve Mills, substitute James Skudder and striker Adam Hawkins claimed a brace to complete the scoring and secure three easy points.
