HAKIN United comfortably despatched of rock bottom Saundersfoot Sports to open up an impressive 11 points lead at the top of the table.

Second placed Merlins Bridge slipped to their second defeat on the bounce as Gary Dawes’ men took full advantage to win their last two games and open up clear daylight at the top, and they have surely got one hand on the trophy with just nine games of the season to go.

The Vikings led two-nothing at the break with Justin Harding scoring the first, incredibly bringing up his side’s 100th goal of the season, co striker Nicky Woodrow was on target with the second.

After the break and the Vikings scored three further goals without reply, Ashley Bevan, Harding with a second, and Matthew Broome completed the scoring.

This Saturday, Hakin United entertain Garw in the fifth round of the FAW Trophy.
