Keri Broome won with a nett 71while Barbara Phillips came second with a nett 73. There was only one two which was achieved by Barbara Phillips on hole 10 (The Boundary) and well worth winning as it was a triple rollover. Barry Davies Trophy - Abe Forsyth scored a very good 39 points to come third, and Thomas Wood's good form continued with 41 points. But Joel Blair carried on his impressive efforts from the day before with a magnificent 49 points - and a hefty handicap reduction.

On the mini course, Club Pro Matthew Hearne gave an on course lesson, which seemed to do the trick as some of the newer recruits put some excellent scores together. The lowest score was by Tomas Carlson in his first Saturday event and prizes will be presented next Saturday, and this batch of new players will certainly be pushing the 'seasoned campaigners' over the next few weeks.

This Saturday is Junior Captain's Day, with the 18 hole competition, teeing off from 9am, and the mini golf comp at 2pm, all followed by a BBQ.
