MEMBERS played in the A + R Gas Services sponsored day held at Rosemarket Golf Club on Saturday.
Winning with an excellent 38pts was Amber Deakin, she birdied hole 13 for the only two of the day. Runner up was Adam Reynolds with 35pts, third Alex James beating Brian Broome and Luke Young on count back with 32pts. Wooden spoon went to Jon McKnight with nearly a point a hole!! Thanks to Adam Rogers of A+R Gas Services and Mrs Marion Rogers for sponsoring the day.
The Alf Thompson Memorial Trophy winner on Sunday was Alan Bowsher with 35pts, runner up Dave Pink 32pts, third Tony Deakin 31pts, fourth Adam Reynolds 29pts beating Mark McCormack on count back.
Junior winner of the Pinseekers competition on Sunday was in form Amber Deakin with 35pts off the red tees. Luke Young 35pts off the white tees, runner up Alex Young 30pts, third Michael Strand 21pts, fourth Tom Strand 20pts. Ladies’ nine-hole winner on Wednesday was Rose Taylor beating Jayne Morgan on count back, third was Amber Deakin, fourth Debbie Thomas, fifth Marilyn Rawlings.
