Hello!

Hope you’ve all had a good week and have been careful on the roads in this horrendous weather we’ve been having.

After quite a tough week last week being on a drip for five days and feeling generally under the weather this week just gone has been much better.

I was on the drip because of an infection that I had in a stud mark on my leg! It looked nasty but I’m feeling much better now, and it’s looking much better!

Before I get on to the rugby from the weekend a little bit of info for you about what’s been going on in my life!

Tuesday afternoon I headed to Cardiff with Jake Ball for a spot of filming ahead of the Christmas derbies.

We were joined there by two players from the other regions and we had to do a little bit of acting for some promo stuff that they’re going to be putting out over Christmas to push the games.

We take on Ospreys at the Parc on Boxing Day, as you probably already know, and then we head to BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on New Year’s Day to take on Cardiff Blues.

The filming took place at the BBC’s studios in Roath Lock. I’d never been there before but it’s where they film Dr Who and Casualty, and Pobol y Cwm!

I had a bit of banter with Scott Baldwin from the Ospreys about our game on Boxing Day. It’s going to be a huge game for us!

After we finished doing our filming we got to head into the Tardis. Like, the actual Tardis! Myself and Jake also managed to talk our way on to the set of Casualty which was pretty cool.

Once that was over I headed back West because I had a Christmas party to attend – the second one of the season and it was only the 1st of December!

I went for food in Druidston Hotel as it was my uncle Tim’s Christmas party. We had a lovely Christmas dinner too!

Right, back to the rugby. We headed over to Italy on the weekend to take on Treviso. If you’re keen supporter you’ll know that we never manage big wins over there and always manage to get ourselves into a little bit of a scrappy game. Saturday afternoon was no different.

It was a tough game for us but a good win in the end and four points to take us to the top of the PRO12 table.

It’s really good to get to the top of the table heading into Europe and before we come back for the Christmas derbies. Games, and more importantly wins, like the one of Saturday will be big games for us when it comes to the end of the season.

We hope we can take the momentum into Europe over the next fortnight and then back into PRO12 action.

Hopefully we’ll see you at the Parc on the 19th. Perfect excuse to have a late little Christmas bash!
