Nearly 500 runners made a spectacular sight on Sunday as they took part in the annual Tenby 10K.

The entrants set off from Tudor Square, cheered on by large crowds who also showed their support as the finishers pounded down the home straight from White Lion Street back to the square.

Marc Hobbs was the overall men’s winner in a time of 33m03s, while Amelia Pettitt was the overall ladies’ winner in a time of 36m36s. The team prizes went to Pembrokeshire Harriers (ladies), Llanelli AC (men's) and Fit Friends Bootcamp Fitness (corporate).

Race organiser Simon Scurrell described the crowd support as "amazing".

He added: "The weather was brilliant - sunny and not much wind to speak of. It was 18 degrees and was warm for running, but there was plenty of water available to the runners.

"A massive thank you must go to WP Lewis & Son, Howies and Bluestone for sponsoring the event, as well as the members of the TROTs running club for marshalling on the day."
