WRU Women’s Division One:
Barry Ladies 12
Haverfordwest Ladies 64
HAVERFORDWEST Ladies RFC continue to impress in their first season in Division One with a comfortable away win at Barry.
The Blues got off to a sluggish start after a long bus journey, with the home team touching down twice in the first 20 minutes.
But they soon found their stride with hat-tricks coming from captain Joanna Price and Nina Colville, two from Clodagh Llewhellin and tries from Rachel Finnan and debutant winger Sinead Morris.
Price, who was named player of the match, kicked seven conversions.
The Blues were on course for more tries, but the game was cut short after multiple injuries to Barry players.
Haverfordwest are back home this Sunday, December 11, with a tough encounter against Seven Sisters.
Haverfordwest Ladies squad: Natasha Thomas, Maria Phillips, Louisa Weinfeld, Katy Lewis, Ceri Coleman-Phillips, Delyth Foster, Emily Banner, Nina Colville, Joanna Price (capt), Rachel Finnan, Hayley McCarney, Sinead Morris, Emily Carrington, Ffion Edwards, Emma Bush, Rhiannon Howells, Natalie Bowen.
