National League fixtures involving Pembrokeshire rugby sides for Saturday, April 22 (2.30pm kick offs):

Championship:

Narberth v Newbridge

The Otters essentially have nothing to play for, having already been assured of second place following an impressive Championship campaign. But they will be largely expected to finish their season with a home win against Newbridge side who desperately need a result.

The Caerphilly based side lie second bottom of the table, and yet a bonus point win could remarkably see them jump five places into sixth.

Division One West:

Crymych v Gorseinon

Crymych have two games left to play, and still harbour hopes of a top four finish.

But Gorseinon lie third, level on points with second placed Llanelli Wanderers - although they have just one game left while The Wanderers have two. In short, they need a win at Parc Lloyd Thomas to have any chance of grabbing the runners up spot.

Whitland v Felinfoel

Sadly for The Borderers, their relegation was confirmed by last week's defeat at home to Crymych.

But they will be motivated to send off veteran scrum half Andrew Jenkins on a high - with the veteran scrum half, and iconic figure at Parc Llwyn Ty Gwyn, confirming he will retire tomorrow.

It may help that they face a Felinfoel side in fourth place and with little to play for.

Division Two West:

Tenby United v Llanybydder

Tenby's promotion and title fate is now in their own hands, and they lie fourth with three games left - while the top three all have just one.

Irrespective of other results, three straight wins will see The Seasiders finish top of the league, and they will be expected to pick up the first one of them tomorrow against a Llanybydder side in tenth place.

Tumble v Fishguard

The Seagulls have comfortably secured safety, and with two games left, are now playing for placings.

In that respect, tomorrow's away trip is an important one, as they play a Tumble side in ninth, just one place and two points below them.

Tycroes v Haverfordwest

It's been a long season for The Blues, one that has resulted in relegation, and they will be glad to see it finish tomorrow.

And yet their most difficult task has been saved until last, as they go to league leaders Tumble.

Tenby will hope the visitors can do them a favour, even if it is just preventing the home side getting a bonus point.

Division Three West A:

Cardigan v Pembroke Dock Quins

Cardigan's season has deterioated somewhat in the closing weeks, with their National Bowl semi final defeat followed by three league losses that ultimately cost them the title and promotion.

A win tomorrow however, will at least secure a top three finish, while The Quins will be looking for something positive to take from their final league match of an up and down campaign.
