THERE was a fantastic festival for youngsters at Cresselly Cricket Club earlier this month.
More than 60 children from around Pembrokeshire took part in an Under 9s cricket festival, with the weather proving kind to players and organisers alike.
The day invariably proved a huge success, with three teams from Haverfordwest (the Vikings, Knights and Dragons), Neyland, Narberth, Lawrenny and two from Cresselly themselves (Doves 1 and Doves 2).
Every team played two games each.
The conditions were kind and there was plenty of excellent cricket on show on a sun soaked cricket field.
Cresselly Cricket Club’s Steffan Jenkins said: “The club would like to thank the organisers and all the coaches and parents of the players for ensuring a superb event.”
