WALES have named their team to face New Zealand in their Women's Rugby World Cup opener at Billings Park in Ireland tomorrow (Wednesday, August 9 at 2.45pm).
And starting on the left wing will be Jasmine Joyce, the former Ysgol Dewi Sant pupil now playing her rugby trade with Bristol Ladies and the Scarlets.
Joyce, 21, rose to prominence last summer with her displays for Team GB 7s in the Olympic Games, but this will be her first start in a World Cup game.
Meanwhile uncapped 17-year-old Lleucu George, of Whitland Ladies, will take her place on the bench to face the Black Ferns.
Another Borderette in Sioned Harries, will take her place at No 8 as she embarks on her third World Cup campaign.

Replacements: Kelsey Jones (Ospreys), Cerys Hale (Dragons), Meg York (Dragons), Siwan Lillicrap (Ospreys), Lleucu George (Scarlets), Sian Moore (Dragons), Robyn Wilkins (Ospreys), Jodie Evans (Scarlets).
