A LATE Carew fightback ensured The Rooks started their Bluestone Foundation League campaign with a point at Jesse Road, denying home side Narberth back to back wins in the process.
It was The Bluebirds who led early on through Ben John, and after half time they seemingly made the game safe when Dylan Davies made it 2-0.
But Carew fought back in the latter stages, with John Harris and James Adie striking to salvage a point.
Elsewhere, there were big wins for Bluestone AFC and West Dragons.
The n organisers travelled to play a second string St Clears side, and turned a 3-1 half time lead into a comprehensive 8-1 win.
Llew Jones starred with a hat trick, with further goals from Aidan Rainbow, Liam Fenge, George Lander, Ian Darbyshire and Gethin Gibby.
Criag Holland got the goal for The Saints.
In Pendine, Division One side West Dragons showed their strength with a 7-0 win.
New signing Daryl Mansbridge did the damage with a hat trick, including one from the penalty spot, alongside goals from Daniel Bryce, Jordan Williams, Jake Davies, and player coach Matthew Price.
The next round of Foundation League matches take place tomorrow (Thursday), with the following fixtures (6.30pm kick offs):
West Dragons v Narberth
St Clears v Carew
Pendine v Bluestone
