Llanrhian’s Jack Jones was judged the Thomas Carroll ‘Player of the Month’ in Pembrokeshire cricket for July.
Jones, 25, missed the first half of the season as he was travelling in Australia, but showed no signs of rust upon his return, taking 12 wickets in three Division Two matches with figures of 5 for 72, 4 for 48, and 3 for 60.
He also excelled with the bat, making 97 not out in Llanrhian’s win over Stackpole, alongside scores of 25 and 31.
This morning, ahead of Llanrhian’s away game with Narberth, he was presented with a £50 voucher for the Cricket Shop, Narberth, from Thomas Carroll representative Brian Hawkins and Pembroke County Cricket Club chairman Paul Webb.
