GREENACRE Garage is currently being well represented on the motor cross circuit by 18-year-old William Lewis.

Will, who serves as an apprentice at the garage in Dinas Cross, has had his Kawasaki KXF 250 bike looked after by his employers, with help from sponsors Fishguard Tyres and Geraint Williams Plumbing and Heating.

And having returned to the sport after a three year absence, the Pembrokeshire College student is justifying the backing.

He had a mixed start to the season in the Class AMX category, with a number of third and fourth placed-finishes. But after his bike had a mechanical breakdown, the team at Greenacre did a rebuilding job and since then he has been in superb form, notching three straight wins at his most recent race weekend.

Garage owner Dai Nicholas said: “We are delighted with how everything went.

“It takes a while for everything to click back into place when you've been out for a while but William is getting there now.”

William himself said he wanted to thank all of his sponsors.
