Division 1:
West Dragons 6
Milford United 3

New player manager Chris Edwards came off the bench to help West Dragons turn around a half time deficit and notch a welcome win against Milford United.

The Robins led 2-1 at the break, but Edwards twice struck from close range to turn matters around, before his side went on to win 6-3.

The home side took the lead as striker Scott Crawford chipped Milford keeper Lewis Roberts to make it 1-0.

But Liam Parr levelled matters, and then Scott Griffiths glanced in a header to give The Robins the advantage at the break.

Edwards then came off the bench to turn the tide, scoring twice in quick succession from close range to make it 3-2.

The see saw action continued as Milford responded through striker Chris Thompson, whose shot from outside the area sailed over the head of home keeper Ben Henton and into the net.

But the final quarter was one sided, and after Jordan Thomas headed in from a corner for The Dragons, Jack Johnson struck from inside the area to make the points safe.

Thomas rounded off the win with his second by heading home a Lee Palmer free kick - ending a run of four straight league defeats for The Dragons.

The Robins meanwhile, who gave debuts to 16-year-old players Jacob Horn, Ben Mathias and William De-vong, remain second bottom and eight points from safety.
