As always, there will be no shortage of Pembrokeshire rugby this Boxing Day for players, supporters, and old-timers alike.

There will once again be a big crowd at Pill Parks for the annual Bishop Cup between Llangwm and Haverfordwest, with a 2.30pm kick off.

It is a trophy The Blues have dominated in recent times - with The Wasps last coming close in 2010, when the sides actually shared the cup after a 3-3 draw in treacherous conditions.

Last season saw Haverfordwest prevail 21-6, and they won 54-5 at the same venue in the league back in September.

And whilst they will be big favourites again on December 26th, they know they will face a Llangwm side that, as always, will be fired up to face their old rivals.

There is a big charity game at Cardigan as the club's First XV host a Cardigan Select side, 2.30pm kick off. The latter squad will be made up of former players and those from neighbouring clubs, and will be coached by Derek Burton and Jon Lewis.

There will be pre and post-match entertainment laid on, with all money raised going to the #TeamMia fund and Gwangwili Hospital Special Care Baby Unit.

Prior to that on the Cardigan School field, the club's youth team will host Crymych, 1pm kick off.

St Davids RFC will also hold their annual Boxing Day game, with the First XV taking on the 'Exiles and Over 35s'.

That game will kick off at 2.30pm.

At The Obs, Milford Haven Over 35s will take on the Under 35s, with a 1.30pm kick off and live music in the clubhouse afterwards.

And there will be a special fixture at Bierspool, where the players who won the county Youth Cup in 2001 with the Pembroke Dock Harlequins will re-unite to face as Ossie Boswell select team.

That kicks off at 1.30pm.

Meanwhile, the proposed Firxt XV v Over 35s match at Neyland has been called off due to concerns over the state of the pitch at the Athletic Club.
