Division 2:
Hakin United 2nds 4
Llangwm 0

WITH the weather wrecking all but two games on the Division two fixture list, The Vikings took full advantage to move 14 points clear at the top.

Both sides had half chances early on - with Gareth Fawcett and Ben Aldred going close for The Vikings before home keeper James Manson was forced into an excellent save from Tom Richards’ 25 yard shot.

But Hakin took control before the break as Fawcett met a Paul Thompson cross with a header that looped over Llangwm keeper Garin Scriven.

Then on the stroke of half time, good build up play from Jake Merry and Thompson set up Aldred, who rounded Scriven to score.

The Vikings took firm control in the second half and made it 3-0 when Dan Evans tapped home from close range.

Evans then turned provider, crossing for substitute Shane Walsh to place a header into the far corner.

Solva 2

Fishguard Sports 1

Goals from Liam Thomas and Finn Iles moved Solva into the top half as they dented the promotion hopes of Fishguard Sports.

After a goalless first half, Clive Thomas' side took the lead when Thomas headed home from a Iles corner.

The visitors soon levelled though when sub Gareth Mathias played in Matt Harries, and the striker finished well from a tight angle against his former club.

But Iles then settled the game in style, dribbling his way into the area before firing a low shot past Fishguard keeper Dave Pepper to seal the points for Solva.
