Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division One:

Narberth 0-4 Hakin United

After having their title hopes dented with that dramatic 5-4 home loss to Carew on Thursday, Hakin United bounced back in the best possible way with a big win over Narberth at Jesse Road.

And yet the opening stages were tight, with Jordan Raymond just off target for The Bluebirds with a stinging 20 yard shot.

But on the half hour mark The Vikings led as Craig Nicholson's ball over the top found Jack Wilson, and the Welsh Schoolboy international kept his cool to fire past home keeper Jason Jones.

And it was Wilson who was instrumental in the second goal after the break as his free kick was parried by Jones, only for Justin Harding to tuck away the rebound.

Hakin's Adrian Devonald was forced into tipping over from Jordan Williams' shot, but it was the keeper who then actually created his side's third goal as his long punt downfield was controlled by sub Gareth Fawcett, who then drove into the area and buried his shot.

And Kristan Bennett's side rounded things off with the goal of the game, as Craig Nicholson unleashed a 30 yard rocket that flew past Jones and into the top corner.

It meant a vital three points for Hakin ahead of a huge few days in their season, with an away game at Goodwick on Tuesday, followed by hosting Merlins Bridge on Thursday.
