Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division One:

Pennar Robins 2-5 Hakin United

LEAGUE leaders Hakin United controlled this clash to comfortably overcome Pennar Robins at Bush Camp as captain Nicky Woodrow grabbed a hat trick.

Kristan Bennett’s Vikings deservedly led 3-0 at half time, with Woodrow bagging the opener with a spectacular volley, and midway through the half the visitors doubled their tally when Leigh Marchant headed home a Jack Wilson corner.

Just before the break, Adam John was tripped inside the box, and up stepped Woodrow to calmly slot home the resultant spot-kick.

After the break the Vikings added a fourth when Woodrow slotted home, and although Phil John pulled a goal back for the hosts, Ben Fawcett buried the Vikings’ fifth.

Rhys Lucas scored a late consolation for Chris Lloyd’s Pennar Robins outfit - but The Vikings remain top of the table on goal difference, but with two games in hand in second placed Goodwick.
