Under 11s: 

Hook 283-1 beat Neyland 203-1

A county select Hook side beat Neyland, who were using the hard ball for the first time.

Neyland batted first with wickets falling at regular intervals with Rhys Phelps taking three.

All Neyland batsmen tried hard against a very experienced attack with Korey Arran, Corey Riley and Gethyn Oatley catching the eye.

A strong all round batting performance by Hook saw Rhys Phelps (27) and Liam Miller (33) both retired after showing their class. Neyland unluckily hit the stumps twice without dislodging the bails, with Corey Riley delighted with his first wicket at this level.

Under 13s:

Hook 110 for 1 beat Llangwm 109 for 4 by 9 wickets

A good competitive game to start the league campaign as Llangwm batted first and posted a strong total.

An excellent 25 retired from Dom Asson included several boundaries, getting his team off to a positive start.

Further contributions came from Joe Phillips (25 retired) and William Walters (14).

For Hook, Harry Makepeace took an excellent 1 for 4 on debut, Niall Griffiths 1 for 10, Lucas Davies 1 for 11 and Troy Goodridge with a superb 1 for 6, his first wicket at under 13 level.

In reply Hook openers Lewis Miller (25 retired) and Owen Phelps (25 retired) gave their team a great platform with an excellent partnership. Seth Willington then took the game away from Llangwm with 27 retired from 19 balls including five boundaries. Lucas Davies (13 not out) played very well and with Niall Griffiths took their team to victory by 9 wickets.

Narberth 54-0 Beat Laugharne 52-8

A young Laugharne side lost to an experienced Narberth with both teams entering into the spirit of development using all their players.

For Narberth Jake Thomas took 4 wickets, Lewis Reid 2 and Olly Berry retired on 25 with Shay Norcross and Matthew Cockwell both not out.

Neyland 121-3 beat Haverfordwest 99-7

Rhys Power (28), Aidan Rees (13) and Liam Rees (19 not out), aided by Mr Extras (47) saw Neyland reach 121-3 with Evan Rees, Harvey Rees and l Parry taking the wickets for Haverfordwest.

W Phillips (23 not out) and R Whitfield (11) along with Mr Extras (44) saw Haverfordwest reach 99-7. Aiden Rees and Owen Rickard took 2 wickets for Neyland.
