CHAMPION surfer Seth Morris, from Broad Haven, has added yet another trophy to his collection by taking the win at the English National Championships in the U18 category over the Bank Holiday weekend.

In a hugely competitive field of the best of Britain’s surfers, four times Welsh junior champion Seth smashed his way to a clear win at the elite event which is run annually by Surfing England in Watergate Bay.

This recent victory means that Seth is now the only UK surfer to win Welsh, English and British National titles. Last September he was also the highest placed ever British male surfer at the World Junior Championships in Japan where he finished 17th.

Seth is currently studying for his A levels at Sir Thomas Picton School and Pembrokeshire College but travels widely to compete both in the UK and on the European pro junior circuit.

He said: “I spend a lot of time away from home but I love travelling and I love surfing. Thanks to my mum and dad and my sponsors I’m able to do it. I’m really lucky and results like this make all the hard work and freezing dawn surfs worthwhile.”

Seth is sponsored by Rip Curl Europe, JP Surfboards, and SurfskateUK.
