Pembroke County Cricket Club Division One: Kilgetty (55 all out) lost to Haverfordwest (247 for 7) by 192 runs
Simon Holliday and Adam James starred as Haverfordwest stayed top of the table with a dominant all round display at Kilgetty.
Danny Potter’s men piled up 247-7 in 45 overs, with Holliday notching yet another century, before James took five wickets to help shoot the home side out for 55.
The ‘Doc’ returned to his usual position as opener and cracked 19 fours and three sixes in a knock of 136, which eventually ended when Ross Hardy had him caught by Liam Cullen in the deep.
No 3 Lee Summons also blasted 40 (three fours and two sixes) and Jake Merry kept things ticking late on with 20 not out – but Hardy’s men did pick up seven wickets as the skipper himself took 2 for 58, Kurtis Marsh 3 for 60, and Jack Parkinson 2 for 47.
But their reply never got going despite 25 from opener Hardy, and The Town wrapped things up inside 18 overs as James (5 for 30) was backed up by Johnny White (4 for 21), while Holliday completed a good day all round with 1 for 1.
