Clarbeston Road 5.
Goodwick United 3.
Clarbeston Road came from behind to deservedly defeat Goodwick United, leaving the visitors totally shell-shocked.
The hosts are adapting to life in the top-flight very well, currently lying in fourth spot in the table, while the visitors are in eighth.
The hosts opened the scoring with barely five minutes on the clock, striker Adam Hawkins latching onto a route-one ball and calmly slotting past Carl Woodhouse.
However, the visitors equalised through striker Danny Williams’ 25-yard rocket, and then took the lead as a deflected Danny Bellis effort wrong-footed keeper Lee Scott.
The visitors led 2-1 at the break, and Goodwick manager Bernie Armstrong felt that his side should push on and win.
But Clarbie manager Huw Bevan told his side to go for broke, and they came up trumps with a stunning second-half display.
Adam Hawkins got his second of the day, co-striker Richard Bevan scored twice and Kristian Griffiths also got in on the terrific goal-scoring act.
The visitors grabbed a third though Bellis, but on the day Clarbie were definitely good value for their third win of the season.
