Carew went top of the table after a sweet victory at Penarth.

Jamie Smith opened the scoring, but will be out of action for while after breaking his finger.

Skipper Steve Kendrick hammered home the second and James Mason added a third to make it 3-0 at the interval. Leigh Thomas pulled off some really good saves during a spell of pressure in the second half but a slip up in midfield gave Penarth the opportunity to get one back near the end.
