The Welsh national special needs championships took place on Sunday, November 9th at Cardiff central youth club.
Pembrokeshire special needs gymnastics club entered seventeen gymnasts in the various groups.
Six gymnasts came back to Pembrokeshire as Welsh champions.
The results were as follows: Primary novice male – 1, Jamie Gau; 2, Osian Owen; 3, Max Richards. Senior novice male – 3, Daniel Pullin; 2, Jack Woods. Advanced primary male – 1, Ryan Foot. Junior male – overall 1, Marcus James, 2; Jamie Bevan. Senior – Darren Briggs, 2, on rings and pommel horse. Advanced primary female – 1, Adele Bevan; 2, Jemma Bowie-Hallam. Advanced junior female – 1, Leah Scott and Emma Martin; 3, Victoria Walters. Advanced senior female – 3, Kirstene Jones and 2, on floor and vault; Rhianne Cole 3, A bars and vault.
It was yet another successful competition for PSNGC with five gymnasts entering this competition for the first time.
