Manorbier girls triumph with nine players

Once again, due to injury and captain Molly Furnival-Doran away on international duty, Manorbier girls were only able to field nine players against championship rivals Llanelli.

A heavy pitch and a very strong wind made for a very difficult match.

However, despite this Manorbier once again came out 1-0 winners, maintaining their unbeaten league run.

Hannah Lewis scored the only goal of the game with a typical run right through the middle of the Llanelli defence.

But it was in defence that the match was won with Ellie Robinson, Hayley Lewis and woman of the match Angharad Jenkins all playing superbly.
