Pengelli United 0 Narberth 0 (Pengelli United won 5-3 on penalties) Narberth were bitterly disappointed to bow out of the West Wales Intermediate Cup after losing a dramatic penalty shoot-out at the hands of Pengelli United.

It was a cruel blow for Nigel Thomas’ Narberth outfit, which fought out a goalless draw with the current Carmarthenshire Senior Cup holders.

Morgan Preece was sent off in the 55th minute for a second bookable offence, but the visitors coped admirably with ten-men for the remainder of the cup-tie.

The home side kept their nerve to win on penalties and marched in to the last four of this prestigious competition.
