Two Pembrokeshire trainers were in celebratory mood after sending out a winner apiece at Ffos Las racecourse recently.
Newport trainer Rebecca Curtis saddled her fourth winner at the Carmarthenshire racecourse.
Black Jack Blues 1-4 odds-on favourite, ridden by the champion jockey Tony McCoy, won the Barry Waters Catering Novices’ Hurdle with ease.
Letterston trainer Peter Bowen was responsible for Rudanphast 11-2, whose win in the UES Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race also gave Richard Johnson a double on the afternoon.
