TWO brothers from Rudbaxton are shooting their way to the top following a successful season.

Luke and Ben Llewellin have both represented Wales and Dyfed in 2011.

Luke has been a regular Welsh team shooter for the past four seasons, and in 2009 represented Great Britain in the under-17 World Championships in Australia.

Recently he has been chosen by his country in two clay pigeon shooting disciplines.

He took part in the Sporting home international in Southern Ireland, where the Welsh finished third.

He was then a member of the side which won silver in the FITASC home international at St Dials shooting ground, Monmouth.

Ben’s shooting has greatly improved in 2011 and he gained his first cap in the Olympic skeet Welsh team.

The home international was held in Southern Ireland, and Ben missed out on the bronze medal by one clay.

The two brothers then finished the season by representing Dyfed in the inter-counties all rounder competition in Cardiff.

Luke was made team captain after being ‘top shot’ in the qualifiers. In the finals he shot for the senior team that ended up finishing second.

Ben was crowned junior high gun after an impressive score of 92 out of 100, with the Dyfed junior team also finishing second.
