NEYLAND gained sweet revenge this week over Clarbeston Road after losing 4-3 to the side at home last week.
And the Nomads were delighted to finally bag their first win of 2012.
Their dreadful form of late came to an end as they claimed their ninth win of the season with six games to go.
Paul Hannon grabbed the opener after playing a neat one-two with Wayne Parry, Hannon then let fly with a fierce right foot shot that flew in the far corner.
Darren Long’s Road troops equalised on the hour mark when Richard Bevan scored with an easy tap-in.
At that stage it looked as if the Road could go on and win, but the Nomads dug deep and got their just rewards.
The visitors regained the lead on 75 minutes when Mike Chandler’s header from Sean Hannon’s well-floated free kick in the box went in off the near post.
Six minutes from the end the points were made safe when Chandler struck for his second goal of the clash, the youngster showing maturity beyond his years to strike a right foot shot low and hard beyond the reach of Lee Scott.
