THIS victory for Haverfordwest County went a long way to helping them stay in the top flight next season.
The Bluebirds currently sit fifth from bottom and have only four matches to play so they need as many points as they can muster.
The visitors deservedly led 2-0 at the interval. Gritty midfielder Gethin Roberts struck a looping shot over Lance Creese for the opener on the 20-minute mark.
Ten minutes later Declan Carroll marked his debut for the Bluebirds with a neat finish from just inside the 18-yard area. On 75 minutes the visitors added a third. Roberts played the assist that Martyn Carroll obliged with a far post finish.
Five minutes from the end Ben Steele pulled back a consolation effort – but on the day the Bluebirds were good value for their precious three points.
