Johnston 8-1 Solva

JOHNSTON proved too hot for Solva as they cracked home eight goals to comfortably pick up the points at Glebelands over second from bottom Solva.

Tigers strikers Joe John and Adam Hawkins scored a hat-trick apiece alongside a brace from Luke Hayward to do do the damage. The only goal that Peter Cole’s side could muster was a consolation penalty despatched by Ben Jones.

The Tigers led 6-0 at the break. Hayward’s direct free kick started the ball rolling. Hawkins added the second with an absolute belter. Hawkins hit the target again for the third before Joe John scored twice, the first with a header and his second a simple tap-in. Two minutes before the break Hawkins completed his hat-trick.

After the break, John completed his treble before Jones struck one back from the spot and Hayward slotted past Davies for the eighth.
