Division four west - NEYLAND suffered a heavy defeat at Laugharne.
The visitors were reduced to 12 men at one stage after Andrew Williams had been red-carded while two other players were issued yellow cards. The All Blacks found themselves 35-0 down at half-time.
They had lost by 30-25 at the Athletic Ground but incurred the referee’s wrath so much in this return fixture they were restricted to two unconverted tries by skipper Mark Chamberlain as they remain in bottom spot in the table.
Laugharne had first-half tries scored by prop Zac Lowther, No 8 Gareth Clifford, outside half John Owen and centre Paul Beddes, with Ross Michael contributing 15 points from three conversions and three penalties.
They added further tries after the interval by Gareth Clifford (his second), scrum half Chris Jones (2) and veteran prop Rob Jones, all unconverted.
This was Laugharne’s sixth win of the season, and Neyland are struggling at the foot but will strive to turn their form round in the final stages of the campaign.
