WRU Swalec Plate - A SECOND half try from Elgan Vittle wasn’t enough to prevent Crymych from going out of the plate competition.

The Preseli Men left themselves too much to do as they trailed 12-3 at half time – a solitary penalty from full back Dan Davies their only points.

But they improved after the break and player coach Vittle sliced through from his centre berth to score.

Davies added the conversion to reduce the deficit to just two points.

The Preseli Men then pushed late on but were unable to get the winning score – missing out on a place in the last eight of the competition.

They return to league action in two weeks.
