(Saundersfoot 96 for 0) beat St Ishmaels (95 all out)
Tom Richards starred on debut as Saundersfoot announced to all their rivals that they are a team to be reckoned with this season when they slammed St Ishmaels by ten wickets after winning a good toss and inviting Tish to bat first.

Only Jonathan Pawlett ever looked settled for Tish until he was bowled by Richards for 33, an innings which included three fours and a six, with Andrew Williams battling his way to 12 in 100 minutes and Andrew Pawlett (10) the only other batsman in double figures against Richards (2 for 23), Simon Wood (2 for 23), Danny Caine (2 for 11), Nick Cope (3 for 28) and Jack Franklyn (1 for 2) Saundersfoot were clearly eager to watch the FA Cup Final because they reached their target in only 15.3 overs.

Richards blitzed eight fours and a six in his 57 not out in only 35 deliveries, ably assisted by keeper Ian Poole, who had three fours and two sixes in his undefeated 31.

Umpires: Denis Chiffi and Peter Perry.

Scorers: Hazel Poole and Wendy Bradshaw.
