Saundersfoot (84 all out) lost to Narberth (210 for 8)

Narberth produced one of their best performances for a long time to easily beat Saundersfoot and climb off the foot of the table as their reward.

They were asked to bat first and produced a very challenging total of 210 for 8 before they bowled and fielded really well to shoot out the home side for a paltry 84.

Asked to bat first, Narberth had useful knocks from Michael Scale (four fours and two sixes in his classy 52), Wayne Howells (seven fours in his 47) and 18 apiece for Kyle Quartermaine and Marc Hughes.

Tom Richards was expensive against his former club as he claimed 3 for 60) as was Nick Cope (4 for 52), with Dickie Parcell back in first-team action with 1 for 34.

Richards also top scored for Saundersfoot with 30 runs alongside Nick Cope (20) and Dai Davies (21), However, they had few answers to an inspired bowling spell by Ben Hughes (6 for 38), ably assisted by Ian Hughes (2 for 9), Ben Quartermaine (1 for 10) and Howells (1 for 27) as Narberth were deserved victors by a massive 126 runs.
