A Super round of golf secured first place for Mark Wood when the Kilgetty Golf Society travelled to the Fairwood Golf Course on the Gower.
In warm weather, there was a turnout of 23 players, including two new members.
In first place winning the coveted ‘Yellow Cap’ and free rounds at Fairwood was Wood. Second was Adrian Alman and third Darrel Jones. The rest of the prizes went as follows: Longest drive: Darrell Jones; Nearest pin Adrian Alman; OAP: Wyn Hopkins; Wooden Spoon: John Perrott; 20+ Handicap: John Williams; Best team: Mark Wood, Darrell Jones, Dave Henry.
The society’s next meeting will be on Wednesday, July 11th.
