Herbrandston (79 all out) lost to Burton (80 for 4)
Burton gained an impressive six-wicket victory at Herbrandston, picking up 27 points for their troubles, and now sit pretty in second spot in the table.
The home side never settled at the crease and were bowled all out for just 79. Burton’s leading wicket-taker was Luke Hayman, with 4 wickets for 11, and was ably assisted by Tim Haggar (2 for 29) and Johnny Scale (3 for 21).
Dean John came in at No 9, with Herbie in dire straits at 36 for 7, and he was Herbrandston’s top scorer with 32 not out (three sixes and a four), as Alan McClelland (16) was the only other batsman to reach double figures as the innings came to an abrupt end.
In reply, Phil Sutton struck a valuable 19 runs, second highest scorer was Mr Extras (18), plus Toby Hayman (16 not out) and Ollie Shelldrake (14) all added runs that earned them a comfortable win. Kristan Bennett (3 for 26) and Nathan Banner (1 for 20) took wickets for the defeated home outfit.

Pembroke (96 for 3) beat Haverfordwest 2nds (94 all out)
All rounder Rob Weston scored runs and took wickets to help earn Pembroke an easy seven-wicket victory over shell-shocked Haverfordwest Seconds.
The visitors batted first and really struggled at Treleet, as skipper Nigel Delaney top scored with 30 but only Steve Phillips (13) and Nitin Mathias (13) had any further success with the bat as the innings collapsed to 94 all out with Weston (3 for 26), Andrew Price (4 for 17), Jack Harries (2 for 21) and Jonathan Rogers (1 for 11) all taking wickets at regular intervals.
In reply, Phil Hay scored a steady 30 not out (four fours) while Will Davies (20) and Weston (17) kept the scoreboard ticking towards an easy win. Avron Roulstone (1 for 18) and Nigel Delaney (1
for 16) were the Town Seconds’ only wicket takers on a day that they will quickly want to forget.
