Can champs avoid relegation?

Neyland (164 for 9) drew with Cresselly (116 for 8)
Cresselly managed to hold on for a draw at Neyland but only picked up eight points for their efforts and are still bottom of the table with only two games to go to see who makes the 'dreaded drop'.
A stand of 77 between Nick Koomen (59, including five fours) and Andrew Miller (33) helped Neyland to a final score of 164 for 9 as Gregg Miller contributed 13 and the major late impulsion came from Patrick Hannon, who struck two sixes and a four in his undefeated 32.
Brothers Sion and Stefan Jenkins claimed respective figures of 2 for 40 and 1 for 21 in the Cresselly attack, and canny veteran bowler Ryan Lewis collected 3 for 37 and fellow slow bowler Simon Cole supported with 1 for 40 alongside Richard Harris (1 for 17).
Cresselly's normally powerful batting line-up has lost its potency this season and only Andrew Harris (20), Scott Arthur (22) and Simon Cole (13) managed double figures before Richard Harris held on at the end with his 16 not out.
Neyland skipper Andrew Miller claimed 4 for 21 and there was a wicket apiece from Gary Lloyd, Anton John and Nick Koomen as the home side secured the bulk of the points from the draw. Umpires: Richard Merriman and Dave Loosmore. Scorers: John Laugharne and Dave Richards.
