Narberth returned to winning ways with a workman-like victory over Johnston at Jesse Road.

The Bluebirds suffered a 4-1 hiding to Goodwick last week, but Peter Fearn’s side were determined they were not going to lose at home for a second week in a row.

Jordan Williams grabbed the only goal of the first half and in the second period Jordan Richards added a second in controversial circumstances.

Shortly after Narberth’s opening goal the visitors could have equalised, but Luke Hayward’s penalty rebounded off the post.

Richards grabbed a second goal when a bounce ball led to the striker scoring with a simple tap-in that secured his side’s fourth win of the campaign.
