Wayne Parry pushes forward for Neyland.
Neyland 2 Narberth 2
Neyland is not a happy hunting ground for Narberth, who have to go back a good few seasons before they had any joy at the Athletic Ground.
Things were looking really bleak for the Bluebirds, who trailed two-nil with only six minutes on the clock, but the Bluebirds, gradually clawed their way back to earn a draw when all looked lost early doors.
The Nomads scored the quickest goal of the season with barely 12 seconds on the clock. Bluebirds’ central defender Jamie Flegg slipped and striker Mike Chandler took advantage to slot his shot underneath advancing keeper John Durbridge.
Joe Charlton added a second for the Nomads, latching onto a long ball and burying his effort past Durbridge’s inside post.
The visitors pulled a goal back on 12 minutes when veteran Richie Adams nodded-in at a corner. The visitors equalised midway through the second period as Sean Pemberton struck with a sweet 12-yard volley to secure a point.
