It was a good day for Pembrokeshire teams competing in the first round of the West Wales Intermediate Cup on Saturday.
Clarbeston Road gained a comfortable passage after thrashing Borough 6-0. Richard Bevan (2), Danny Lewis, Dan Rees and Nick Bevan scored for the visitors.
Tenby picked up their first win of the season with an emphatic 7-0 victory at Greenfield Rovers. Sam Christopher and Daryl Mansbridge bagged a hat-trick apiece alongside a solitary effort from Sam Whitfield.
Haverfordwest Cricket Club defeated Hubberston 4-4.
Netting the goals for the Cricketers was Ashley Griffiths (2), Chris Phillips and an own goal. Gareth Hughes and Jamie Butland netted for the visitors.
Milford Athletic caused an upset by winning 5-4 on penalties at Hundleton after it finished 1-1 after extra-time.
Chris Thompson (2) and Bradley Cristofaro scored in Milford United’s 3-1 victory over Trallwm at Marble Hall.
Narberth won 4-1 at home to Treboeth United thanks to goals from Morgan Preece, Jordan Richards, Aled Thomas and Richie Adams.
Letterston, Llangwm, St Clears all bowed at the first hurdle and Solva withdrew from the competition before travelling to Bryn Rovers.
Carew go through to the next round as their opponents Gowerton Juniors pulled out of the competition.
This Saturday, Pennar Robins travel to Coelbren Athletic, Pendine entertain Goodwick United and St Florence travel to Rhos.
