There were no major upsets in the rest of Saturday’s Senior Cup first round clashes.
Clarbeston Road gained a narrow 3-2 victory over fellow division two rivals Milford United. Nick Bevan (2) and Matthew Lloyd scored for the Road, and Ashton Plunkett and Josh Smart bagged goals for the Robins.
In an all division two affair Scott Reid scored a superb hat-trick to earn Herbrandston a 4-2 win over Prendergast Villa at home.
In another all division two affair Milford Athletic won 3-2 in extra-time at Kilgetty. Jordan Howells and Mike Beynon scored for the hosts, while Gary Power and a brace from Stuart MacDonald settled this close clash.
Last season’s beaten semi-finalists Solva narrowly won 3-2 at division two outfit Lamphey, all the goals were scored in first period, where Solva striker Matthew Harries completed a hat-trick.
Brad McDermott Jenkins, Joe Kidney and Ben Jones all found the back of the net for Lawrenny in their 3-1 over Hubberston at home.
Division one St Ishmaels won 4-1 at division two Letterston. Bagging the goals for Tish were Gareth Cheshire (2), Ethan Hawkins and Adam Davies.
Monkton Swifts hammered division three Camrose 8-0 at home.
Bagging goals for last season’s finalists were Lee Gilpin (3), Billy Vaughan (2), Michael Canton (2) and Tom Meiring.
Division one Narberth easily overcame division two Carew 4-0 at Jesse Road. Richard Henton, Ashley Williams, Sean Pemberton and Jordan Williams scored for the Bluebirds.
Division two St Clears hammered Pembroke Boro of the third 8-0 at home.
Bagging the goals for the Saints were Eddie Wiggins (2), Nick Squire (2), Dorian Davies, Gareth Griffiths, Owain Evans and a penalty by Martin Thomas.
West Dragons won 4-2 at home against Angle in an all division two clash.
Scoring for the Dragons were Scott Crawford (2), Joey Jones and Mike Turpin.
The all division one tie between Saundersfoot Sports and Tenby was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
