Narberth (158 all out) lost to Cresselly (190 all out)

CRESSELLY eased home to victory by 40 runs against Narberth in another high-scoring clash at the Lewis Lloyd Ground, a win that puts Phil Williams boys in joint second spot in the table.

Wayne Howells maintained his excellent form for Narberth as the veteran medium pacer grabbed 5 for 27 and found good support from Ian Hughes (2 for 43) and Jordan Howell (2 for 45). Matthew Morgan again top-scored for Cresselly in their tally of 190 all out as the talented young opener stroked 54 runs alongside other useful innings by Simon Snowy Cole (41) and Nick Davies (46).

Simon Chief Cole (35), Mike Scale (28), Ritchie Adams (26) and Ian Hughes (19) batted well for Narberth after tea but no-one could build the big score needed to challenge Cresselly's score. Bobby Webb (3 for 26), Sam Harts (2 for 26) and Harry Thomas (2 for 32) were the principal Cresselly bowlers in this success.
