Carew 2nds (134 all out) lost to Haverfordwest 2nds 135 for 5

THERE was quick-fire batting aplenty at Carew as the clubs second string scored 134 all out in only 25 overs and their counterparts from Haverfordwest reached their target for the loss of five wickets in only three overs more!

Matthew Phillips (21), Lewis Hicks (31), Luke Hicks (15) and Dafydd Bevan (17) were the main contributors to Carew's tally as Josh Wilment (3 for 31) and Chris Phillips (3 for 25) bowled well for The Town in cahoots with James Morris (2 for 39) and Will King (2 for 34).

Nitin Mathias led the visitors reply with a classy 41 and an unbroken sixth wicket stand of 65 between Jamie Jenkins (36 not out) and King (37 not out) saw them over the line as Johnny Harries (3 for 19), Joel Read (1 for 12) and Dominic Hicks (1 for 24) claimed the wickets for Carew.
