FIVE records were smashed at Terrington Hall School’s annual athletics sports day.
The record-breakers were led by Year 4 pupil Adam Reid in the Under-9s ball throw (37.89 metres) and U9 javelin (18.30m).
Further records were broken by Year 4 pupils Rachel Lindenberg and Nat Esler in the shot (9.73m and 10.92m respectively) and Year 6 pupil Amelia Blackburn in the javelin (16.99m).
The afternoon concluded with a canon relay, which involved all members of the school.
The winners of the victor and victrix ludorum trophies were: U13 – Cameron Keanurico and Abi Watkinson; U11 – Alex Chalton and Amelia Blackburn; U9 – Adam Reid and Rachel Lindenberg.
