FOURTH placed Herbrandston banged in eight goals to gain a convincing victory at third from bottom Monkton Swifts.
Last season’s second division champions had too much fire power for the Swifts to cope with. Leading the visitors’ goal-rush was substitute Darren Devonald with a superb hat-trick and an excellent brace by Shane Walsh, and a goal apiece for Alex Ouzman and Craig Nicholson.
Mark Powell’s struggling Swifts replied with consolation goals by a Craig George penalty, Michael Canton and Ryan Griffiths.
