Tony Deakin announced that his captain’s charity 2014 had raised £413 and he was adding this to Kevin Holmes' "Hairy Challenge" in support of Prostate Cancer.
Winners of the mixed Pairs Texas Scramble on Saturday were Kevin Holmes and Gary Lloyd with a nett 64.2 (two on hole 11) runners-up were Martin Reynolds and Clive Richards nett 67.8, third Peter Morgan and Adam Rogers nett 70.2 (two on hole 13) fourth Chris Hine and Ali McCormack nett 71.2 and fifth Matthew Hobbs and Alex James nett 72.2. Sunday winter league winner with 37pts was Harley Holmes, runner-up Gary Lloyd 36pts, third Kevin Holmes 34pts, fourth Michael Strand beating Tom Strand on count back with 33pts. January Monthly stableford winner was Scotty Martin 35pts, runner-up Gary Lloyd 33pts. Winter league winner was Gary Lloyd 34pts, runner up John Lewis 33pts.
