St Clears 1

GOODWICK United put five goals past St Clears to pick up their ninth win of the season at Phoenix Parks.

Nigel Delaney’s Phoenix lads effectively killed off the game as they were four up by the break.

The hosts got off to a dream start as they took the lead in the third minute, Rhys Dalling scoring with a sweet left foot strike. On the ten minute mark and the hosts doubled the lead, Wayne O’Sullivan heading home a well-flighted free-kick in the box by Rob Morgans.

A quickly taken corner led to Lewis Banks finishing from close range for the third. In the 35th minute the hosts were awarded a penalty that Morgans despatched comfortably.

Midway through the second half and Morgans added his second goal of the game before the Saints were awarded a penalty that Owain Evans converted from the spot.
